Africanfarmer Mogaji, Chief Operating Officer, Farmcrowdy

Mr Africanfarmer Mogaji is Described by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as a ‘Champion for Change’, Africanfarmer Mogaji before FarmCrowdy, was the CEO of X-Ray Farms Consulting – a new generation agricultural expert, coach and consultant with over 19 years of experience both in the livestock and crop production industry within and outside Nigeria.

He is passionate about leveraging on agriculture and food security initiatives as a platform to reduce unemployment, underemployment, transform lives out of poverty, promote enterprise development among rural and urban farmers in Nigeria and Africa at large.

In 2009 he hosted the entire members of the Nigerian Senate Committee on Agriculture and Water resources on his 250 acres irrigation Farm in Iseyin, Oyo state. Also, he received a delegate from the Minister of Agriculture same year. His strong passion to alleviate poverty among rural farmers attracted the prestigious Ashoka Fellowship in 2013.

In 2014 he represented Nigeria in the United States on US Foreign Policy and Food Security sponsored by the US Department of State and became a Fellow of International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP). He received KWAME NKRUMA Leadership Award 2016 and was inducted into the West African Youth Parliament’s hall of Fame.

He has been featured on leading media platforms including U.S Government’s Global Hunger and Food Security Initiative (Feed The Future Newsletter), Punch, Business Day, The Nation, Daily Independent, Success Digest and others across the world.

Africanfarmer Mogaji is currently an analyst on Business Morning segment on Channels TV sharing practical solutions to national agricultural related issues.
