Philip Ikeazor, CEO, Keystone Bank

Mr. Philip Ikeazor is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAN) and a graduate of Economics from the University of Buckingham, England. He is a professional with over 25years cognate experience.

Mr. Ikeazor was Chief Accountant at Nigerian Carton and Packaging Manufacturing Company before starting his banking career in 1990 with Nigerian American Merchant Bank then affiliated to Bank of Boston, MA, USA. There he trained as a loan officer. He also worked at Merchant Banking Corporation (MBC) and left in December 2002 as General Manager Corporate Banking.

Mr. Ikeazor was General Manager Institutional Banking in Ecobank Nigeria from January 2003 and was later appointed pioneer Managing Director/Chief Executive of Ecobank Kenya between May 2008 and February 2009. Later at the United Bank for Africa (UBA), he was General Manager Offshore Banking, General Manager Corporate Banking, Regional Bank Head and Director Wholesale Bank at various times.

Mr. Ikeazor was a Governing Board Member of International Crop Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISA) in India from 2006 to 2012.

Until this appointment, Mr. Ikeazor was the Executive Director in charge of Corporate and Investment Banking and Treasury, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, and also served on the board of Union Bank UK Plc., Union Registrars and Union Capital Limited.
