Mr Tony Madojemu is a graduate of University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and a Member of the Institute of Directors (IOD).
He has also attended executive development programmes of both local and international institutions, including the prestigious Harvard Business School and the Lagos Business School.
Tony is a thoroughbred Accountant with strong Financial Analysis, Financial modelling and Credit Risk Management Skills. His robust career experience was gained working in a first class Auditing firm (Coopers & Lybrand, now part of PWC), and over two decades in both the banking industry and other top notch financial institutions.
His exposure has taken him through areas of Statutory and Forensic Auditing; Corporate, Commercial and Retail Credit; Risks Management; Project Finance and Management; Corporate Development and Planning; Real Estate and Infrastructure Development/Investment; Private Equity Investment; Public and Private Partnership (PPP) and Renewable Energy transactions.
He has valuable and deep rooted experience in Board and Stakeholders relations and has served on the Board of several multi-billion Naira companies including the Boards of Suburban Telecoms West Africa, Channels Oil and Gas Ltd, International Energy Insurance (IEI) Plc and C&I Motors.
He is also on the Board of African Biofuel and Renewable Energy Company (ABREC), an international company based in Lome, Togo, initiated by the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID), for the funding and development of biofuel and renewable energy projects in Africa.
