Paytoday Is A Work At Home Scam Startup

Much attention has been driven to Ponzi Scheme, but there are newer fraudulent schemes such as Paytoday, a new ‘work at home’ scam website.

The site use the domain name paytoday.online and it seems it was registered with a Nigerian domain registrar. PageOne cannot independently verify whether it is owned by a Nigerian. Moreover, many Nigerians are now part and parcel of top operations of Ponzi Schemes such as the case of MMM.

Apart from the fact that there are no faces, names or profile of people behind Paytoday, the work at home website is already claiming it has paid out USD205 million to members even when the site is less than three months.

There are several alarm bells that should go off when you first enter the website. Apart from a ‘ragtag’ web design and template, Paytoday is more or less like an advance fee fraud website that will hurt a lot of people who fall for its crude tactics.

Products of Paytoday

Just like its peers in pyramid and Ponzi Schemes, Paytoday does not have any particular product or service it renders to its members. Its claim of being a work at home website is fraudulent as there are no jobs or work available for its members.

To join Paytoday, each member is required to pay USD25. Members are required to refer new members with their referral link to earn USD10. This creates a confusion as to what Paytoday actually offer its members. It was marketed as a work at home platform such as Elance and Freelancer, its workings is just another pyramid scheme in disguise.

Instead of having the usual ‘How it works’ section, the only information available about the workings of the scheme is in its FAQ section. See below:

The fact that its identity and profile of people behind it are hiding makes it a dodgy business that you should be very cautious before you do any with them.

PayTodayOnline is a scam. For those of us who have fallen victim it is unfortunate. But we must try to make the people we marketed to know that it is a scam in it’s entirety.
