In recognition of its work in improving the quality of financial services, Musoni has been awarded the BBVA Financial Inclusion Special Award.
Musoni Musoni Services supports MFIs, SACCOs and Asset-Finance companies with its best-practice microfinance software, helping them to improve efficiency, reduce costs and expand outreach
The award was judged by BBVA, IIF and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Musoni will be working closely with BBVA executives over the coming months to explore new opportunities for collaboration.
As winner, Musoni will travel with BBVA’s Financial Inclusion team to meet partners exclusively devoted to the fintech space in both Europe and Latin America.
The company said ‘We will also present Musoni at the IIF Annual Membership Meeting that will be held in October in Washington. Alongside winning this award, Musoni has been chosen as one of 20 finalists in the BBVA Open Talent Fintech competition, with the winners to be announced in September’.
