Charles Ugboko is a seasoned administrator and experienced in management, banking, marketing and real estate. He obtained his first degree from the Universite de Lausanne in Switzerland and an MBA from the University of Sherbrooke in Canada.
He joined the ALUSUISSE in Zurich and served in a Senior Management He was later appointed as a pioneer Executive Director in Urban Development Bank (Infrastructure Bank). He has attended various courses and training programmes with UBS, Harvard Business School, INSEAD Paris to mention a few.
He is very Fluent in French and German. position in ALUMACO Apapa for 6 years after which he served as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive of the Nigeria Bankers Employers Group. He joined Afribank Nigeria Plc and rose to the position of an Executive Director in Afribank.
He retired in 2005. In a highly successful career, he served at various times on the Boards of Afribank International (Merchant Bankers), ANP International Finance in Dublin, Consolidated Discounts Limited, Afribank Estate Company Limited and Afribank Insurance Brokers Limited.
SunTrust Bank Limited has projected itself as a technology driven bank. With a regional license, the bank will only be accessible in the Southern part of Nigeria.
