After successfully floating Ozaremit, Ibrahima Soumano is cooking- Afrimalin, his second venture take on one of the biggest tech companies in Africa.
On the 15th of September 2016, Ibrahima Soumano will be launching Afrimalin.com, an online classified site ‘for individuals and professionals in Francophone Africa:Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Guinea Conakry, Mali, Benin, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo’.
OLX, a Naspers backed classified site is the market leader in Africa, facing local players in Nigeria such as Efritin.com and Jiji.ng. Afrimalin will be looking at putting up a big fight in Francophone African countries.
The company is backed by Thibault Launay, Romain Girbal and Célia Grémy, a team of French investors who have invested undisclosed amounts in Ozaremit as well.
