Tomato prices have crashed back to NGN800 per basket from the NGN18,000 price it was some weeks ago. This is a good news for Nigerians in the midst of the highest.

Nigerian tomato farmers were plunged into a minimum loss of NGN1 billion when moths attacked tomato farms across the country.

The swarm was code-named ‘tomato ebola’ because of the wanton destruction they left behind.

The Nigerian Bureau of Statistics, NBS released the June inflation data showing that the consumer price index for the month rose from 15.6% to 16.5%. The rise was precipitated by the rise in furl price and food sub-index.
