Now that the wait for Africa’s final round for the Russia 2018 World Cup draws is over, Nigerians await what becomes of the Super Eagles in the group many have termed as the ‘group of death’.
Niggeria will be facing one of the most strongest teams in Africa- Algeria, Zambia and Cameroun in group B.
Nigeria, a former African champions have struggled to impress in recent times following their failure to qualify for African Cup of Nations back to back. Nigeria featured at the 1994, 1998, 2002, 2010 and 2014 editions of the World Cup, but also failed to progress beyond the second round.
Russia will welcome teams who will make it as winners of the five group having played each other home and away. Furthermore, the matches will take place between October 2016 and November 2017.
The question is, will Nigeria be among the team who would make it through?

Top on the agenda of the Nigeria Nigeria Football Federation, NFF is, hiring a coach for the senior national team as the Eagles have been without a gaffer since the departure of Coach Sunday Oliseh.
The NFF must as a matter of exigency decide on either retaining the interim Coach Salisu Yusuf who has handled the team in recent times in friendly games or hire another handler who will see the team through the needles eye.
