Analyst view:
Activities on The Exchange continue in reds as the market continue to drop sharply.
Reports shows that the market capitalisation continue from where it stop in declining yesterday as it also continue with a drop at N9.315 trillion declined by N129.58 billion or 1.37 per cent compared to N9.444 trillion on Tuesday .
Also, the All-Share Index lose by 377.30 points or 1.37 per cent to close at points 27,098.18, against 27,475.48 on Friday.
Top gainers
Gainers for equities was led by Fortis oil lead the gainers’ table with a gain of N9.80 to close at N205.80 per share. Flourmill also gained N1.06k to close at N22.36, Oando increased by 53k to close at N7.25 per share. Unity bank gained 10k to close at N1.10 and Nem insurance grew by 4k to close at 88k per share.
Top Losers
Losers for equities , reports shows that Nigeria Breweries led the Losers table with a loss of N6.52 to close at N130.01 per share. Dangote Cement also may a loss of 4.99 to close at N165, Cap plc decline by N1.88 to close at N38.12 per share Dangote sugar also made a loss 47k to close at N6.33 while Port paint made a lose of 10k to close at N1.95 per share.
Most active
The Most active sector table change today Wapic led in term of volume of shares trade, accounting for 60.93m share value at N 30.46, Access trailed with an exchange of 34.87m valued at N185.30m.
Most Traded
Oando lead the most traded chart in term of value trade, accounting for 8.624m share value at N62.35m and increase by 0.53% to close at N7.25 FBNH trailed with an exchange of 18.79m valued at N69.77m and still drop by 0.06% in price to close at N3.70.
Top turnover
Zenith bank has the highest turnover of valued at N 195.73 declined by 0.10% to close at N14.70 also was Access with N185.30m with a 0.05% but with an increase to close at N185.30, Nestle also made a turnover of valued N108.566m but with an increase to close in price to close at N757 UBA closed with N82.35m but with a drop also of 0.07% in price to close at N4.18.
In all, a total of 261.00million shares worth N1,215 billion were traded by investors in 3,591 deals, in compared with 188.23 million shares valued at N billion which exchanged hands in 3,488 deals on Friday .
