Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) enter the fourth day of the week with another positive index as its continue to responded positively to the MPC decisions.
Reports shows that the market capitalisation which grew yesterday trend at N9.714 trillion on Wednesday increased by N211.86 billion or 2.18 per cent to close at N9.926 trillion on thursday.
Also, the All-Share Index appreciated by 616.86 points or 2.18 per cent to close at 28,877.47 points, against 28,260.61 on Thursday.
Top gainers
Gainers for equities as not being retain since the week as started as Guinness took turn to led the gainers’ table with a gain of 10.23 to close at N110.08 per share. Oando also gained 67k to close at 7.30, UBA increased by 51k to close at N5.63 per share. Diamond Bank gained 21k to close at N2.32 and UCAP grew by 21k to close at N2.39 per share.
Top Losers
Losers for equities as not also being retain since the week, as reports shows that 7UP led the Losers table with a loss of N2.50 to close at N138.50 per share. Dangote Cement also may a loss of 1.92 k to close at N175.08 , Fidson decline by 8k to close at N2.12 per share. AG Leventis also made a loss 5k to close at 95k while LearnAfrica made a lose of 3k to close at 73k per share.
Most active
The Most active sector table change today UBA led in term of volume of shares trade, accounting for 101.93m share value at N 537.24, Fedelity trailed with an exchange of 75.85m valued at N103.36 million.
Most Traded
UBA lead the most traded chart in term of value trade, accounting for 101.93m share value at N 537.24m but increase by 0.32% to close at N5.19 Zenith Bank trailed for the third day running with an exchange of 28.18m valued at N476.86m and also increased by 0.59% in price to close at N17.10.
Top turnover
Guaranty still had the highest turnover of valued at N 1.322b and increase by 0.03% to close at N21 also was Dangote Cement with N601.46m to close at N175.08, UBA also made a turnover of valued N537.24m and increase by 0.32% to close at N5.19 while FBNH closed with N318.14m and also increase 0.38% in price to close at N4.37.
In all, a total of 651 million shares worth N5.020 billion were traded by investors in 5,796 deals, in compared with 474.40 million shares valued at N3.503 billion which exchanged hands in 5260 deals on Wednesday.
