Activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE on Friday ended on a positive note, with market capitalisation improving by NGN 30.28 billion following price appreciation by some highly capitalised stocks.
Reports shows that the market capitalisation which opened at NGN 9.29trillion rose by NGN 30.28 billion or 0 .33 per cent to close at NGN 9.321 trillion.
Also, the All-Share Index appreciated by 101.7 points or 0.37 per cent to close at 27,129.41 points ,against 27,441.03 on .
Top gainer
Reports shows that Diamond led the gainers’ table with a gain of 17k to close at N1.91 per share. Skye Bank also gained 7 kobo to close at NGN1.17, while UBA increased by 23k to close at NGN 4.45 per share. FBNH gained 19k to close at NGN 3.85 and Stanbic grew by 71k to close at N15.01 per share.
Top Losers
On the Losers chat,Reports shows that Neimeth led the Losers table with a loss of 5k to close at 95k per share. Union also lose 69k to close at NGN13.17, NCR reduce by 47k to close at NGN 8.99 per share. Ikeja Hotel also made a loss 11k to close at NGN 8.99 and Thomaswy made a lose of 3k to close at 58k per share.

Zenith bank had the highest turnover of valued at N1.78b also was Access bank with N443.72m, Guaranty also made a turnover of valued N207.19m while FBNH closed with N206.10 million.
In all, a total of 559.07 million shares worth N3.592 billion were traded by investors in 4,902 deals, compared with 498.78 million shares valued at N2.73 billion which exchanged hands in 4,765 deals on Thursday.
