Beta Glass, one of the major bottle glass maker in Nigeria has just named another CEO after the resignation of George Papachristou.
According to a statement released by the company to The Exchange, Darren Bennett-Voci has been appointed as the company’s Managing Director since April, 2016. Darren used to be the former commercial director at Frigoglass.
Frigoglass was a major investor in Beta Glass before it divested from the company in 2015. The company had sold its holding to GZI Mauritius Limited for USD 225 million.
Other announced appointments by Beta Glass are Olaolu Akerele and Nikolaos Mamoulis as part of the new board of directors
According to the company, George Papachristou will remain on the company’s board of directors.
Beta Glass [BETAGLAS:NL] share price currently trades at NGN 43.23 kobo per share. The stock has risen by about 15% for the past 12 months.
