Vardy Boost Leicester City Title Hopes

Jamie Vardy’s double was all the Foxes  needed to shock Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Yes, they are edging closer to securing the much coveted Barclay’s Premier League title. With three more wins from their last five games, they would be crowned champions of the 2015/2016  season.

The Foxes have helped their ambition by grinding out result when it mattered. The win over Sunderland marks their fifth straight victory which opens up a 10 point lead.

In other games, it was a ‘hat attack’ for Arsenal as they threw away two-goal lead against Westham to be hit by Andy Carol’s hat trick before the Gunners rallied back to finally secure 3-3 draw at the Upton Park.

Second place Tottenham Hotspur kept the pressure on Leicester City after a convincing 3-0 victory at the White Hartlane against visiting Man Utd.

Manchester City continued their impressive form beating Westbrom 2-1, Swansea edged Chelsea 1-0, Watford 1-1 Everton, Southampton 3-1 Newcastle, Aston Villa 1-2 Bournemouth, Crystal Palace 1-0 Norwich City. Liverpool recorded an emphatic 4-1 victory over Stoke City.
