Just as Apple [NASDAQ:AAPL], is reeling from the embarrassment of its hacked iPhone by the FBI, Facebook Inc. [NASDAQ:FB] shocked the world this week that it has launched an end-to-end encryption for WhatsApp. The feature which is now available to all WhatsApp users will scrabble all WhatsApp messages, pictures, videos and voice notes exchanged on the app in case anyone tries to access it including Facebook. While this is a victory for 1 billion WhatsApp users, it has pitted Facebook against global law enforcement agencies on global security and fighting terrorism.
