Ivorian defender Emmanuel Eboue has been sacked by Sunderland FC in less than a month of joining the club.
The 32 year old who joined Sunderland as a free agent was hammered by the Black Cats after he bagged a one year ban from FIFA’s Disciplinary Committer over a protracted debt owed his agent Mr Sebastien Boisseau.
According to a statement released by the world football governing body, FIFA, on Thursday, ‘Eboue is illegible to take part in any football-related activity that will last for one year or until he pays the total outstanding amount owed to his former agent if this occurs before the one-year ban has elapsed.
