Kidnapped senior military officer, Samaila Inusa, has been found dead.
According to a press release by the military spokesperson, Inusa is suspected to have been murdered the same day he was kidnapped on his way to Abuja in Chikun local government area of Kaduna, North West of Nigeria. “The body was found already decomposing around Ajyaita village off Eastern Bypass Kaduna, Kaduna State. Arrangements are in progress to move the body to 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna. May His soul rest in peace, Amen.”
“We wish to state in unmistakable terms that whoever is behind his abduction and murder would be fished out to face the full wrath of the law,” the statement reveals.
The military has not fingered any group neither has Boko Haram, the terror group taken responsibility for Inusa’s kidnap and murder.
