
Tunji Braithwaite, one of Nigeria’s legal and social activists has just passed on.
He was confirmed dead this morning at the St. Nicholas Specialist Hospital, Marina where he was treated for an undisclosed illness.
Aged 82, Braithwaite was a former presidential candidate of the National Advance Party, NAP. He was notable for his fierce social and political views in the Nigerian polity during and after the military rule that lasted for over 40 years.
