Nigeria Police Goes Tech, Recruits 10,000 on the Internet

It seems the Nigerian Police has stepped up its game lately and it will be adopting technology in its operations.

The Police service will be recruiting 10,000 people into the force via web portal that will be open to the public by the 1st of April, 2016. The Nigerian Police has not carried out any recruitment in the past five years and it hope to get it right and escape from recruitment scams that have characterised other government recruitment in the past.

To apply for the police job, applicants are expected to possess five credit level passes including Mathematics and English Language at Senior School Certificate Examination in not more than two sittings.

Cadet Inspectors and Police Constables

Candidates would be expected to have an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Advanced Level (A level), National Certificate of Education (NCE) or their equivalents.

Cadet ASPs

Candidates for Cadet ASPs must possess a University degree or a Higher National Diploma (HND)
