End of the Road: Nasarawa and Wolves Crashed Out

It was a disappointing outing for Nasarawa United and Warri Wolves, two of Nigeria’s representatives at the CAF Champions League lost to their African counterparts.

With an initial defeat at home, Wolves were defeated 1-0 by Sudan’s Al Merrielkh. Nasarawa United with an initial 1-0 lead at home, lost by a whooping 4-0 to their Algerian host, Constantine.

Enyimba FC, Nigeria’s last hope in the league qualifies for the second round with a 6-3 aggregate win against Vital’O FC. Enyimba will be facing the winner of the tie between Morocco’s Olympique Khourigba and Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia.
