Shell Pipeline Company vice president Kevin Nichols is set to replace Shell Midstream Partners chief executive John Hollowell, who retires in March 2018.
Nichols, joined Shell in 1992, and will report to the company’s downstream director, John Abbott.
He has extensive experience within Shell’s retail arm, and currently sits as chairman of Colonial Pipeline company.
“I am excited to lead this great company. We have a proven track record of delivery, and I look forward to growing Shell Midstream Partners and further positioning the company as one of the most valuable MLPs in the market, -Nichols said.
Having spent about 38 years with the company, Hollowell will step down from his position on 31 March 2018.
John Abbot said of Hollowell: “John has been a driving force behind Shell Midstream Partners and its consistent delivery. The partnership has matured greatly under his leadership and is well positioned for continued success.”
