Japanese Internet giant, Dmm Group to launch digital currency exchange

Japanese Internet and entertainment giant, DMM Group has unveiled plans that it will launch a crypto currency exchange.

This is coming less than 24 hours after Youbit, South Korean crypto exchange filed for bankruptcy after a severe hack.

The entrant of DMM Group into the crypto buying and selling market is a positive one going by the country’s high level of usage of digital currencies.

The DMM Group is a full-sized Internet and entertainment group with activities inVideo on demand service, online shopping, e-books, online games, rental service, news, online English education service, 3D printing, mobile telephony, robots, PC software, solar panel service.

In a statement to confirm its plans, DMM said:

“DMM Bitcoin will launch a new service site for virtual currency trading on January 10, 2018, and we plan to start accepting account opening applications on January 11.”

“There are 7 virtual currencies that can be traded, 3 currency pairs for spot trading and 14 currency pairs for leveraged transactions”.
