Dylan Pienaar resigns from Grand Parade’s foods units

Grand Parade Investments said Dylan Pienaar will be stepping down from his position as the Chief Executive Officer of its
Foods division.

The company said in a statement that:

GPI board would like to thank Mr Pienaar for his significant contribution to the GPI Group during his 10 years of service and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

Mr Pienaar’s resignation takes effect on 8 November 2017.

According to its profile, Mr. Dylan Pienaar, B.Com Hons PGDA (UCT), CA (SA), ACMA, CGMA has been Chief Executive of Grand Foods Division at Grand Parade Investments Limited since July 1, 2017. Mr. Pienaar has been an Executive Director of Grand Parade Investments Limited since November 1, 2014 and serves as its Public Officer.

He served as Group Financial Director of Grand Parade Investments Limited from March 1, 2015 to July 1, 2017. Mr. Pienaar served an Interim Group Financial Director of Grand Parade Investments Limited since November 1, 2014 to March 1, 2015.

He joined the firm in 2008 as part of the GPI Slots finance team and has since held various key roles within the group finance team, including Group Financial Manager and Finance Executive. In his role as the Group Financial Manager and later as the Group Financial Director, he has been closely involved in the financial and operational aspects of GPI’s Grand Foods division. He is a Director of a number of Grand Parade Investments Limited’s subsidiaries. He serves as a Director on the Board of GPI Slots (RF) (Pty) Ltd.

He served as an Executive Director of GPI Slots (Pty) Ltd. until January 2015. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (United Kingdom). He is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He holds B.Com Hons PGDA (UCT), CA (SA), ACMA, CGMA degrees.
